Our founders have extensive experience in business, development, manufacturing and a passion for boating. That background and a desire to provide reliable high-quality products which solve complex problems simply, led them to start Arthur Edison. Our founding philosophy is to make the world a better place for everyone to enjoy. One simple idea at a time.
Things we see all around us
Observation is the key to Arthur Edison. We watch and analyze what we see in the real world. What are folks doing that causes them stress? Why is it happening? Can we fix the problem to relieve that pain point in a simple way? If we can, can we do it in such a way that it helps our environment as well?
As long as there are complex problems to solve, Arthur Edison will be doing just that. Solving complex problems... simply!
Solving complex problems with simple solutions
Once we see something we feel needs a solution we work to find the simplest solution possible. What's the point of solving one stressful thing and just replacing it with another? A solution should enhance your life not make it more difficult. And a really good solution should also enhance our world as well, a cleaner environment is not out of reach if we all do our parts.
Our ideas come to life
As avid boaters, we have experienced things that tend to detract from the enjoyment of being on the water. Rushing to get fenders deployed and finding the lines tangled and knotted; fueling and having the fuel blow back into the water, on the deck and the hull are things which we thought would be easy to solve..... and they were... The Stow-a-Way fender cover and the CLiX fueling aid are the first two examples and there will be more to come!
