What types of boats can the CLiX work on?

The CLiX works on most boats with fill ports from 1.5" - 2.0" openings.

We have found that systems that vent out of the fuel cap work best with CLiX.
What material is the CLiX made of?

Our Patent Pending design is made using a custom blended rubberized material. It is resistant to petroleum products and it is conductive and biodegradable.
What if fuel comes out my vent when filling?

Boats that have the following issues may not work with the CLiX product line.

  • 25+-year-old boats.
  • Boats with damaged vent filters.
  • Boats with Modified fuel filler necks.
  • There are many articles online about the vent issues. you can have a professional place a new vent filter into your boat to help with this issue.

This thing works! Just used it our 32 Sea Ray

This thing works! Just used it our 32 Sea Ray Sundancer, filling it has been an aggravation since.we got the boat last year. Every time I would start filling it the fuel would overflow within 1 minute, using this device has totally solved the problem. Fuel flow is continuous without any spills throughout the entire process filling 158 gallons.

It does work

I just filled up for the first time using my gas clix funnel. I’m in California and we have a big vapor recovery spring loaded boot on our pumps. Without the clix, I can get the pump to lock on and walk away to fill my truck or prepare to fuel the other boat tank. With clix, I need to stay and hold the pump the whole time. It clicked off a couple times long before the tank was full, and did finally click off before overfilling. It’s a little hard to be confident that I got the tank all the way full. Without the clix, I spill fuel almost every time and on my boat, that goes on the upholstery and down the side of the boat and out the vent. Big mess. With clix, I got none of that. So I’m glad for the clix and will play with it to figure out the best way to use it. I more often fill in AZ where the pumps work better, I assume this will be better there. Also, my gas caps have a chain that attaches inside the filler neck. I was worried that would prevent the clix from working, but it was no problem at all. The clix is a little soft and flexed around the chain no problem. Sorry for the ramble, hope this helps.
